Essential Documents for Malaysian Companies Establishing a Presence in China (2025)

1. Original Application Form (to be provided upon project confirmation) - signature must be consistent with the passport signature and signed with fountain pen, and correction pen (a.k.a. "Liquid Paper" pen) is not acceptable.

2. Original Declaration Form (to be provided upon project confirmation) - signature must be consistent with the passport signature and signed with fountain pen, and correction pen (a.k.a. "Liquid Paper" pen) is not acceptable. Declaration form needs to specify the nature of business of the company and the purpose of legalization.

3. Copy of director's passport.

4. Copy of director's IC.

5. SSM Form 9.

6. SSM Form 13 (SSM certificate of incorporation on change of name of company), if applicable.

7. Confirmation letter with the company letterhead to confirm that the director is the company's legal representative.

8. Chinese company's Business License (for JV, partnership, etc.).

9. Other SSM forms, licenses, and Business Details, if applicable.

10. Licensing, partnership, JV or other agreement with other legal entities, if applicable.

11. Authorisation letter to allow Chew Zhi Han (961111-33-5093) and other relevant person(s) to conduct the legalisation of documents for the relevant company (to be provided upon project confirmation).
